Darling Downs Security (DDS) is proudly a local, family owned and operated business. It began in 1998 when Company Director Russell Davie and his family moved to Toowoomba from the Cooloola coast to take up a position managing one of three Divisional areas in the city for Chubb Mobile Services.

We’ve since established our own security firm and have grown to become the "Preferred Supplier" of Security Services amongst our community. We’ve earned a reputation for our quality service, our reliability and our expertise.

Director

Russell Davie

Russell Davie JP (qual) has been working in the Security Industry since 1990 and has seen a lot of change. Prior to working in the security industry Russell had worked in the Primary Production Industry and Mining & Mineral Exploration Industries.

His work has included security patrols, monitoring stations, static site security, covert cash/bullion movement, prison security, mine security, counter espionage and industrial security and private enquiry work.

Russell has received citations for his work in the Mining Industry and was awarded Marksman as a Prison Officer. Russell is well equipped with the experience and knowledge to effectively manage a modern security firm in today’s dangerous world.

Suzanne Davie

Suzanne Davie is a very capable Financial Controller having worked in property management and administration prior to moving to Toowoomba from the Cooloola Coast with her husband Russell Davie (Director) and their three children to manage one of three divisional areas for Chubb Security. Suzanne is responsible for maintaining our financial records and accounts receivable records on a day-to-day basis.

OUR CASH IN TRANSIT OFFICERS

In order to maintain our strict covert nature for this service, our transit offices need to maintain a low profile and so they can’t be identified. They are very experienced in their job and between them have over 20 years’ experience.
